[STRIKE]Had a deep freezer lined up on Craigslist, fell through...Big surprise.

My girlfriend and I are looking to purchase a freezer around ~5-8 cubic feet. Prefer chest freezers, but would be willing to look at stand up freezers.

Price: $100-200... I see them regularly in that price range, so would prefer to stay in there.

Additionally, I'd like to get 1/2 a beef and some venison.

Located on East side of Indy.[/STRIKE]

Found what I was looking for. Thanks everyone!

See if your local Sam's Club has one in stock--I picked up a 7cf manual defrost (actually a plus as far as I'm concerned!) for about $200, and there's a good chance you could do the same.

    Hope that helps!

    Bump.

Thanks guys, but $200 was a very tip tip number. Looking to strike a good deal on here, hopefully with someone who also has some beef or venison.

Not sure you can get 1/2 a beef in a 5 cu foot freezer...we had a 12 cu footer and it was plenty big for the four of us...and I want to say we got it for less than $175 a couple years ago. If you have the room, you might opt for just a little bit bigger, you can always use the extra room for popsicles, and roadkill storage. (Used to bag coons and keep them in there until I had several to take in for sale)

    Here's a 15 footer for less than $200
