Just more corporate posturing. This does nothing whatsoever to aid in security. Nothing more than a PR gesture from soulless corporate stooges

Frankly, I'm surprised the Airlines don't already do this on all flights into cities like NYC, DC, Chicago, etc.

Is anybody else old enough to remember when a citizen could simply fly on a commercial flight with their sidearm on their person?

How many people were checking guns while flying into DC?

Maybe 1 in a few hundred million?
I'm assuming this is to Dulles and Reagan, so a lot of beltway and other travelers could be affected - e.g. anyone going to the NRA.

It's not just Delta and it's not just Dulles and Reagan. It's also BWI and Richmond, VA, and it's all major airlines. And you peasants aren't allowed to have a glass of wine while you are flying to DC either.

As I understand it, most, if not all guns are prohibited in DC anyway, pretty much only residents with the gubments permission. And damn sure don't bring them from out of town.....except congressmen....

That doesn't mean you aren't landing in one of the Washington area airports, or Richmond airport, with a reasonable plan to take the gun somewhere else in the vicinity for legal purposes.

Well golly I had to open this one to see what a delta weapon was.

Makes me kinda appreciate being retired and not messing around in airports.
