Man, it's not even election time for the TEA Party mayor of Indy and already the dems are going after him. He's really in for a rough time come. Unfortunately, he's brought it on himself. Too many bad decisions and broken promises. He betrayed the people who put him in office. Looks like the TEA Partier's better come up with a viable plan b and start working on it now. Indy republicans are going to find that they have a tough row to hoe with this guy.

Not living in Indianapolis, Ballard still affects me when I ride my bike on the Monon. Seems like he prefers to protect criminals and doesn't care about the rights of honest people to protect themselves. And this is only one issue.

The republicans really need to think this one over, or Ballard really needs to rethink his policy and do a major face change that is believable.

Since when was Ballard a "TEA party" mayor? That's news to me. I thought he was a Republican. I don't believe he aligns with the TEA party.

Ballard came into office on the backs of the tax protestors who were unhappy with Bart Peterson, the Democrat mayor. He's got his good points and his bad points; I'm unhappy with his stance on gun control and his choice of Public Safety Director, but I have no doubt that if some of the current IMPD incidents had happened under Peterson's watch, they'd be trying to cover them up instead of calling in the FBI.

I'm willing to give him another four years.
