Dick's Black Friday sale prices are being honored today!

    Just picked up a 10/22 for $179, and a Rem 870 for $269.

I'm not in the market for an AR, but they're selling their Troy decked out version for $800, which is absolute robbery.

So is this Troy a better value than the Bushmaster M4 ORC Dick's is selling for $799.

I would appreciate the advice from you experts.

Many times better. Just look at the pics. It's been a good deal when they put them on sale for $999 every other week. But at $799, its a steal. Like the other thread stated, some stores are selling them now, some are taking orders. Ordered mine today.

Though many rounds and rifles away from 'expert' in the AR game, the Troy offering spanks that Bushmaster handily.

Look at it this way: You could sell the handguard as new, never used for 150, then sell the grip for 30, then sell the sights for 80, and the stock for 50, all in about 5 minutes, and you'd be left with a very good basic AR for less than $500.

    It's sick, actually.

It is an opportunity, no doubt.

The Greenwood dicks hung a $1099 sign on theirs and had to be prodded to reveal the $799 price. Guessing $1099 is the standard price.

$1099 is what I see in the Ad when I pull it up. It's a moot point though cause I'm not buying anything, just curious.

Was told at the Lafyette store that they had sold the 5 they had, but could take orders for more. But they might not be delivered for a week or two. No big deal for me. Ordered one. :dunno:
