When somebody selling ammo says that X brand ammo is good for plinking do you want to ask "so...these cant kill?". I can't be the only person.

Never thought about it before. Ammo is ammo. All of it has the potential to kill. Velocity, bullet configuration, and reliability all factor in when picking out ammo for self defense. Plinking ammo is primarily for target shooting/practice.
