I am looking at buying a new bolt action. have it narrowed down to 2-3 cartridges.
the .300 RUM is so far on the top of my list except...

i am reading that it possibly has feeding issues.
I want to hear real world experience from you guys that own rifles chambered in .300 RUM. is it really an issue? are certain rifles better or worse with that issue?

I own two and have never had problems with either. I also own a .300 short action ultra mag and that one does like to cause problems during the cycle.

I had a .338 RUM for a bit, can't see the 0.030 difference altering feed. It was as reliable as reliable and built on a Stiller TAC338 action. Turned it into a .338 Edge and used it as a bear rifle when I lived in AK.
