Does it seem strange that a certain local WNBA "star" who kneeled for the national anthem here in Indy last week requested police presence at her home for 24/7 protection after her "expression of free speech"? Is this the same as democrats wanting to ban guns, but use their armed bodyguards for their own personal safety? The irony these days is getting out of hand. Am I missing something?

Yep. Absolute hypocrisy. If she felt like she should take a knee to protest LEOs, she needs to contact private security and let them protect her. You cant have it both ways, lady. (I SOOOOOOOO wanted to not use that word)

DOMINO'S PIZZA TREATS THEIR WORKERS LIKE CRAP! THEY UNDERPAY THEM, DONT LET THEM CARRY WEAPONS FOR DEFENSE AND DONT PROVIDE PROPER TRAINING OR INSURANCE!
"Hello? Domino's? I'm really hungry. Can I get a medium pizza with..."

Yeah, you kinda are. Where is it indicated that "she does not believe police are good?"

Talked to some bike cops as I left the office. They said the protest was not only peaceful but several thanked them for the escort.

So if you're of the belief that people that are protesting, believe as you said earlier, what's the reasoning in thanking them for their escort? You're playing into the same type of false narrative that drives BLM. Some of the BLM are dishonest in their assessments, don't be dishonest in yours as well.

Don't have a link. It came to me as an email for a request to work part-time employment. I was included along with several other officers requesting that we sign up if available to work for this specific detail per her request.

According to everything I have read, Colin Kaepernick was doing it because:

In August, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick announced his decision to sit down or take a knee during the national anthem to call attention to police violence and injustice in black America. His act of protest followed several high-profile fatal police shootings of black men this summer — including the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile in July.

It seems that other athletes were following suit. If they truly believe that the police are doing injustice to black Americans, is it not hypocritical to ask for police to sit in front of their homes for protection because they became fearful after making their statement by kneeling during the national anthem?

Is that from a different thread?
