    These guys text a lot on the battlefield. It's probably not the safest, or most secure way, to communicate intel....but whatever works I guess.

    No! No! No! He has an app on his phone and is calculating wind values, trajectory, constant etc......yeah that it!

    You laugh, but I do have an App for that...

    I know it's there, they have it for everything. I just think it's funny seems like everyone can do it easy now, when I went through sniper school we had to do it the old way. If you were lucky you had a calculator if not a lot of scribbles in the back of the data book!!!

    I've learned in't easier to ask for forgiveness than permission at work anyway (that only works 50/50 with a spouse)

    Heck, its just a modern communication device, like the radios of old. I know there were times overseas when we used cell phones cause either the radios were not in range, not working right, or in certain areas, the radio waves could set something off. Not saying texting is the best, but its communication. Shoot, Move, communicate
