The last time I saw drifting was I think before one of the 500s, there was a lot up past turn 2 where a lot of action seemed to be going on. I'd love to see drifting as part of a "weekend of events" to bolster interest in the Indycar series, especially at ovals.

Spectator ridealongs. 80+ Mph sideways with absolute control of the car. Car handling skills that even Formula drivers take notice of. It's a blast. I feel sorry for those who have not got to witness this Motorsport.

Chris whats up man, I didnt know you were on here.

Ya thats caleb he is doing MDU this year, you gonna be around on the bike?

I've consolidated motorcycles. I just put around on a Suzuki Boulevard now. I'm planning on spectating NoStar Bash and hopefully a couple others this season. I'm itching to put another car together but I've promised myself I would finish school first.

Been in a car on the track doing well over 80mph (135-140mph) That was fun.

Driven a 26' box truck in the snow, not fun when it goes sideways.
Driven a 40'+ bus in the snow and had it try to go sideways, again not fun.
I don't want my M5 or even my F250 to go sideways.

I don't see the point in drifting. I won't say it's dumb or pointless. I know I can't do it, but I don't see the point in it.

It's about having fun. I'm sorry you don't see the point in it.

What's the point in Baseball? NASCAR? To prove your skill and have fun doing it. I don't understand the point of 380hp M5. Why do you need that horsepower?

Your inference reminds me of the lefts saying there is no point to owning an AR15.

im just debating, don't get butthurt

Doing 140 (I've done 160) is not the same as going sideways at 80 and controlling at car. ( I have only done a ride along at 80mph sideways but it was still more fun than driving 160)

I love sending my f250 sideays, nothing like kickin up a little dust lol

If I had a BMW I wouldnt send it sideways either... Worried it might jar one of those fancy electronics on it loose :stickpoke:

go play in the snow with rwd and you will

Oh hell yeah!!! The wife wants to go out for dinner tonight and with the roads being slick I'm begging her to let me drive! Of course, she's been with me in the snow a few too many times and refuses to let me even close to the wheel if she's in the car this evening.

LOL I would be more worried about sending my old 2004 Pontiac Grand Am sideways then a BMW.

Funny you consider fancy electronics to be heated seats, navigation, and a power sun shade, sun roof. Kind of standard stuff anymore, isn't it?

    Southeast of disorder.
I remember when drifting was called broadsliding, and you did it on dirt.

My 95 powerstroke doesnt have any of these fancy things LOL
The closest to any of these I have ever had was a t-top and oh boy did I think that was fancy. Im still debating on putting AC in my tuck or if I should just stick with the whole 20/60 thing LOL
