I got tired of trying to get to my ccw with my seatbelt on. My solution- a left handed blackhawk holster from bradis II for $20.

drilled the holes and added three screws with washers and a nut.

so... who did the wiring job :dunno:

Good idea on the holster though :D

(I'm a 20 yr veteran w/ 12volt ... this includes car audio, remote starts, etc. hence the nit-picking on the hanging wires LMFAO)

Looks like it's a Grand Am, I would guess the dealer had something to do with it...

My Grand Am was in the shop almost every other month. Glad I had the extended warranty.

grand am or olds alero. Both have very similar dash/console.

HOWEVER... the blue wire hanging down is the remote wire for his audio system. Running a remote wire in that car from the radio cavity to anywhere else is a bit tricky to keep it from hanging down (like that). There are ways, but it's a little tricky :D

(when I'm right, I'm right.. just ask me LMFAO)

02 Grand Am, the red wire (switched 12v) was there when the car was bought, the other blue is my 12v trigger to a old skool amp for the 6x9's. Yours truely did the wiring. I still need to clean the car out but I'm lazy and crippled.

Dude. You need to clean out your console and get those drugs back in the medicine cabinet where they belong. And there's this thing called a vacuum cleaner....

    Just messing with you.
I like what you did. The only thing is.... an LEO walking up to your window will see that right away and prob get real nervous ...

Depends on how big he is. Could easily be covered with his leg!

Nice, been wanting to do something similar with my '00 GA GT. I like the velcro idea for being able to switch out different holsters as I carry multiple pistols. That, or using some type of nylon holster capable of fitting multiples.

160k and still gets over 30mpg on the highways. I'm running her until the wheels fall off.
