Can A 'Drinkable Book' Solve The World's Water Crisis? - Digg


saw this and thought maybe it would be good for preps. Its meant for third world countries and what not but what about ours when we get there... what you all think good idea or bad?

Educating the 3rd world about keeping trash and feces away from their water supply is a good first step.
It seems like common sense but then again, I guess I have 1st world bias going on.

Otherwise, that's cool.

I feel like they would have been better off doing this on a slightly larger scale. This looks like it would take forever to get a gallon of drinkable water. Multiply that by how many HUNDRED people may be in that particular village. Great idea, though I think they need to think bigger. Maybe they are already doing that and I just didn't hear that part.
