Anyone ever used this company or can refer me to a company around the greenfield or surrounding indianapolis area? Just looking to have my automatic transmission fluid and filter changed (2006 mustang) and they are around $100 cheaper than the dealership I was looking to take it too.

    Thanks

We had a very bad experience with the Greenwood location, especially the area manager. I'll go to a single local shop before a chain after that experience.

I had a decent experience with the one at 71st and michigan. my Neon with 150K miles blew a transmission cooling hose as I approached Indy coming home from chicago. They were the only ones on that saturday AM that was able to get me a tow. Every tow company I called either "dont work weekends" or "Only tow for the police". So I called Edwards and took advantage of the free towing. Later that night I ended up driving home in a brand new Kia because we decided that it just wasnt worth putting another dollar into the car. (I was starting to pay more per month on average in fixes than I would for a new car payment)

I showed up first thing Monday AM and met the manager without notice when he arrived. I explained the situation and he graciously allowed me to clean out my car at my leisure while it sat in his bay, pay the towing fee, and agree to release the car to the dealer's rep when they arrived without hassle. They had already done minimal work, but He didnt try to charge me a dime or pressure me into paying for the minimal diags they did.

On a side note I think either they or the tow operator stole my Ray Bans as I never saw them after I handed off my keys to the tow driver, but I cant prove anything.

Overall I was happy with how well they let me walk away without giving me any grief about wasting their time. I just paid the obligatory tow fee and walked out.

Freaky coincidence? My Insurance agent my family used for just shy of 45 years passed away about the same time as my car died. Thats just weird.

Had the Edwards in Castleton rebuild a transmission once and it was nothing but a nightmare. I would never recommend their service to anyone.

I had a bad experience with Edwards on crawfordsville rd a number of years ago. I use a couple of places in the Greenwood to Franklin corridor. Depending on the make.
