I thought all Egyptian Maadi's were milled... But, I guess I was wrong I am finding out that some were stamped. does anyone know which ones were stamped and which ones were milled? I am looking to buy an AK or trade for one just trying to figure out whats a good one to get for the money... Arsenals are to much money for me.. I like the CMMG Mutant but thats way to much...

There are no milled Egyptian Maddi rifles. They are all stamped. Bulgarian and Chinese Milled rifles are the most common. Look for rivets. No rivets is likely milled.

Up until the Saiga they were the closest to the Russian design. I think they were the AKs used in Red Dawn.

Maadi AKM's were all stamped, starting with the Steyr imports of the late 80's, then the ARM designated rifles, RML series, CM and others mainly imported by Century and Intrac, and others. Go to www.gunbroker.com search MAADI for pics. Some Maadi/Chinese Mak-90 versions were also produced. www.theakforum.net has a Maadi section for more info, and they were made in Egypt on Russian equipment and favor Russian AKM's in color, furniture and accessories.
