I just picked up a ZT 0561 a couple of days ago. I'm not a steel afficionado so forgive the question if it is obvious. What is the tendency of this steel to rust from sweat in a pocket?

I love this knife! I'd buy another one for sure!

Thanks for the help! In reading up on this steel, I thought this might be the case, but I don't find a ton of real-world experiences to reference. Appreciate it!

If your easily offended by deer processing and pics don't click this link but if you want to see some real world use on Elmax steel check it out. Busse has been using Elmax in some of their new models and it's getting awesome reviews.

Deer Season Update.....Elmax Steak Knife Review

That's pretty impressive! And the only thing offensive is that I haven't had one of those deer-thingys to process for two years. Thanks for posting!

My pockets are . . . humid. I've been carrying a ZT made with Elmax for several month with no sign of corrosion.

I've been using a SYKCO in Elmax for food prep for... shoot, almost a year now. No corrosion. I usually clean it pretty well, but the wife sometimes forgets.
