Has anyone heard if Elmore's in Greenwood was broken into overnight?

Yep, just drove past there. Front windows boarded up.
I heard they got very little. If I recall correctly, they put most firearms in safes overnight. They don't have any bollards or other stopping devices in the front. Easy to drive any vehicle right in.

I talked to. Greenwood PD this morning around at 8 am, and yes, there was a smash and grab there. No info at that time if anything was taken.

On a related note, Bradis II a couple weeks ago too for a smash and grab as well? I noticed the picture window is now replaced with siding. Or was it a proactive measure given other smash and grabs?

I agree 100%. Some people have no clue there's a huge difference between a robbery and a burglary!

That's weird. If I remember correctly , last time they lost some high dollar stuff too!? I'm pretty sure most of their guns are in a safe overnight.

When I was a kid, The old guy that ran the local gun shop had a shotgun rigged up with a trip wire pointed at the door. I thought it would be plenty effective against a burgler. Others disagreed. It was effective, when the old man forgot about it and tripped the trigger wire himself. RIP Robert.

IIRC last time a KAC limited edition AR was the only gun they got. Probabaly something you don't want to ding safing daily. My guess is that this is the same.

I do believe you are correct. I never did see it surface on the Interwebs, I do think that criminals are that dumb.
