My dad was a private pilot, my grandad was a commercial airline pilot and before that flew cargo planes in the Army. I spent a lot of time in small aircraft as a youth. We use to travel all over the country in my dad's airplane. He's had a few. Piper cub, Cessna 195, and he even fully restored a 1947 Ryan Navion when I was younger and we went all over the place in that thing to airshows and fly-ins and such. Pretty fun but my brother and I didn't inherit the flying bug. We prefer to keep our feet on the ground. Or at least on two wheels.
