I used to shoot water bugs in my basement with 38 spec. wax bullets.

My dog Flash requested a cease and desist because it woke him up from guard duty.

I had a mouse that regularly crossed a section of my living room almost every night. Traps did not work. Finally, I loaded up my S&W 617 with some Aguila Colibri and one night I got him with one.

Doesn't say where this is, but if in the US, likely a wolf spider or nursery web spider, harmless.
And those eyes don't glow by themselves - they shine by reflected light.

But to some, NO spider is harmless.
If it weren't for the pistol, I would've guessed somewhere like Australia. The huntsman spiders they have down there get huge. Not really poisonous, but they can still inflict a fairly painful bite.
