The FBI literally uses agent provocateurs to stage terror events and continue to fuel the public's paranoia over terrorism. They bribe mentally unstable people and convicted felons and send them on stupid missions that they heroic authorities can easily catch. The public is continuously fed a line of B.S. about terror and constant threats to their security. This serves to create a gullible populace who tolerates never-ending foreign wars and a security-obsessed Police State, unfolding domestically.

This time the FBI rounded up some convicted felons and bribed them to attempt a bombing on a synagogue. Even though the attack was planned by the U.S. government and the bombs were fake, the entrapped patsies will get mandatory 25-year sentences and the public will think that the Government is really doing a good job of keeping them safe.

Ever seen Wag the Dog?? That's the War on Terror in a nutshell.

Three men convicted of trying to blow up synagogues in New York have each been sentenced to 25 years in prison. But the case has raised allegations of entrapment, after they were actually incited by the FBI, and handed fake bombs.

The judge in the Newburgh case apparently was angered by FBI's tactics, but said that her hands were tied. She was forced to pass a heavy sentence on the so-called domestic terrorists.

The character of FBI's undercover informant leaves much to be desired. Apparently he, as an immigrant going through the naturalization process, was about to be deported for committing fraud, when the FBI offered to save him if he would go undercover for them. The FBI paid him very nicely as well, and it appears he just scammed and entrapped some fools.

Below is a link that has A LOT more information on it, including statements made by a defendant. Based on what I read here, the entrapment argument really flies out the window. The guy here basically argues that he and his co-conspirators were trying to scam this guy by taking his money and leading him on. They tried to scam a scammer and it backfired. Basically the church members warned these guys that this guy was up to no good. Instead of taking the advice they started making comments to the guy about wanting to commit terrorist attacks. He took the bait and gave them money and paid their rent and they started telling him what he wanted to hear.
