Family Guy doesn't even try to be funny anymore

I guess I'm getting too old. I just don't "get" a lot of the new sit-coms. Even a lot of the comedy movies are just not funny, IMO.

I used to love to watch "the big bang theory", recently I have noticed
it is mostly about sex, and, nope mostly about sex.

Even the reruns that I remember enjoying are now obviously dripping with
constant sexual suggestions. I didn't think I was a prude, maybe I grew into one.

I have thought family guy is hit and miss for a long time, mostly miss.
I always like the parts that emphasize that brian is a dog.

Like when lois chases him with the vacuum.

I felt the same way about South Park a few years ago. After the first few seasons it just wasnt funny anymore. Then I stopped watching for a few years then one night I was flipping throught the channels and just happen to stop on it and I laughed the whole time. Its not as consistantlt funny as it used to be but I still chuckel a few times per episode.

Family guy is just the new South Park. Except they also have American Dad that is gaining popularity while The Cleavland Show it seems is tanking. So maybe they just need to pull The Cleavland Show and refocus on FG and AD.

Family Guy as sucked since day one. Good humor gets worked into the plot.

I think Family Guy is hilarious. I just haven't watched as much lately because I hardly watch TV anymore.

What the deuce...I enjoy it...but Stewie is nowhere near what he used to be, the historical jokes and references have dramatically faded, a lot of garbage has been added for shock value and I change the channel the second Peter and the chicken start fighting.

Simpsons faded the same way, but I do get the occasional, surprise clever episode.
