Wanted to make something that my dad would use and be proud of.
It was a two fold gift ... after making the knife, I took it to work and had to
make sure that it was going to be good enough to cut small and large fish so
I filleted a beautiful salmon and took both to him and enjoyed both that night.

    440C Stainless
    9.5" blade 14.5 overall
    Homemade "mycarta" burlap camo handle
Homemade Mosaic pins - West System epoxy

    Thanks for looking !!!

I kind of like knives but wouldn't consider myself a "knife" guy but that is a really nice looking knife! I do cook, and I have some great knives that my father passed on to me(he was a Master Chef) so I can appreciate a good blade.

By looking at it, I can tell that it would feel great in my hand!

Very nice job! I could get a lot of satisfaction out of making one of those. Heck I would be tickled pink to receive one as a gift!:)
