It's that time of year again and I have decided to make it a horror film weekend and was just wondering what are your favorite horror Films. On the top of my list is The Shining and the original A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Unfortunately neither of these titles are available on Netflix Instant Streaming but there are many others that are.

"Strangeland", written by and starring Dee Snider was pretty depraved... And although not a film per se, one of the scariest shows I've ever seen was "Trilogy of Terror" - a made-for-TV series of 3 short stories. The one with the little doll that comes to life and chases the lady around her house with a butcher knife freaked me out as a kid... I still remember watching it on an old black & white TV in my bedroom with the lights off.

I watched "House Hunting" on Netflix last night and although I didn't find it a very scary movie (which seems to be the norm for me in my older age) I did find it to be a entertaining movie and I'm glad I watched it. Hopefully I can find more on Netflix or Crackle that will be just as entertaining. Thanks for bringing that one to my attention Netsecurity.

    The Devil's Rejects.
Scariest part being that there is no bogeyman. They are your neighbors...
Favorite horror flick and also in my top 5 movies ever.
House of 1000 corpses was good, but in that campy b-flick sort of way.
The first 10-15 minutes is the best part of the entire thing.
