Here's a quick question for you. What price range are you looking to build this rifle in? I ask because most parts kits come with triggers that are sufficient to the task. An upgrade might be beneficial to a point but if you're in cost savings mode for a build there are different options you might have versus if you're not on a tight budget. I personally think triggers are very important as they are the point of contact that ultimately sends the round down range but I would choose a trigger appropriate for my budget, philosophy of use, and personal preference in feel.

Check out the link below for one man's opinion on a trigger for his AR. I believe the trigger update is towards the end of the thread, it was a late addition in terms to all the changes he's made.

    +1 for Geissele.

I have Geissele triggers in all of my AR's, except for my 22lr AR pistol. I keep waiting on the Geissele AK trigger. (wishful thinking, I know...)

I would have never owned a Geissele if it weren't for this guy right here ^^^

I honestly never would have thrown down the cash for one because...well...I didn't know any better. After I installed it it almost made me hate to pick up anything else for a while because the trigger felt so good. So in short, another +1 for Geissele.

all you guys repping the geissele have you tried and of the KAC triggers?

    No.

    Have you tried any Gieselles?

I freely admit I bought the SSA-E based on internet recommendations of what my intended uses were (a FrankenSPR), and its quite possible any number of other triggers including a GI w/ trigger job would work nearly as well. But the SSA-E is the closest to 'breaks like glass' I've ever used, including a number of higher-end bolt action triggers.

I most certainly have. Its likely what i'd put in my own gun. Just from a cost perspective. With that said the KAC to me is still better.
