    So I just picked up a can of this stuff

    to shoot at my new bobcat steel. Anybody have any experience with this ammo. I was just kidding about the shooting of my bobcat steel.

    855 will wear your steel faster, especially if shot at closer ranges (<100 yds). You should expect pock marks. Those create ricochet hazards. Most competitions forbid steel containing bullets because of the damage potential.

    I never shoot centerfire rifles at steel closer than 100 yds either, and always hung from the top with chain.
