I second the Firepan. They were designed and have been built here in Indiana since 1991. In 1998 the shop that builds them moved to Mooresville. IN.
I have one as well and can say they are bullet proof (literally as well as figuratively). They are sturdy and well built. The main "pan" is made from 7 GA steel (almost 3/16" thick!). All fabrication and construction is completed in Mooresville.
There is a Pot Hanger made as well for hanging a pot for chili or beans.
We use our Firepan multiple times a week in cool weather.
