Just finished my first AR build, I'm new to the sport (just acquired my first firearm in January). I've always been interested in the AR platform and wanted to basically see how much it would cost to build one during the crisis. Overall the build was very fun and addicting, I'm glad I decided to build my first AR so I have a good understanding of how to break one down completely. I'm already planning my next build one the craze settles, feel free to those out the criticism.

Taper pins were in so tight had to make relief cuts to get them out...

Looks good :rockwoot:, I have that same FF rail on a couple of my builds, can't beat them for the price.

    Welcome to the club! :ar15:

I was extremely impressed the FF rail, I wasn't expecting much for $87 dollars but mine looked pretty good. I was expecting it to be a bit heavier too.

you mind sharing how much you got in it now, given the rapid inflation since you started?
