Loaded my first rounds with CFE 223. Actually, it's my first time loading any rifle rounds at all. It's readily available around here so I'm hoping for a decent range round. Thought I would share.

Burris MTAC 1-4x sighted in with American Eagle 55 grain and tested with a dirty barrel on my 16" AR at 100 yards. Point of impact was lower than the factory rounds and seemed to spread more around 27 grains and up.
    Thanks for looking! :)

    Nicely done.
The group w/ 26.4gr doesn't look bad either.
I'd load up a box of each and do some more testing.
One group could be a fluke.
