Thanks again for the great advice. I just completed the 5th holster and blocked the ejection port with leather instead of cardboard this time. That works much better. I also put a few more layers of tape on this one to see if it really changed the retention once completed. So far so good.
Looks good, keep up the good work!

Here is the 5th holster (Shield 9) I have made for another friend. He also wanted a mag carrier with the same slots as the holster and OWB as well. I know he is going to give this one a really good field test for me. He owns the property I get to shoot on and will wear this thing everywhere around the property. On and off tractors, gitters and jeeps will be a good workout for this one. Next up is another battle drab OWB left handed for a G27.

I buy most of my bending supplies from Index Fasteners. They have good prices on quantity, and often have scratch and dent inventory on mark down. If you get on their mailing list they send out 5-10% off coupons regularly. Also, their eyelet setter is the best quality at a better price than knifekits.

as for the edge shine, a good buffer does a lot. The trick I learned for that final burnish is to use warm water and a green scratch pad, like you use for scouring a pot. Try it out, it's scary effective.
