    Any recommended tools/tricks for fixing dented brass? For instance 223 neck. I didn't want to try to force it through the die and put added wear on it.

    If you mean taking out dent/flat spot on the neck I use a small pair of needle nose pliers. Keep it closed, stick down the neck turn it a few times. Rounds the neck enough for it to resize properly .

    If the brass just has a visible dent (not "creased" or split) and will go into the sizing die, the dent should iron out in the sizing/expanding operation.

    The easiest way to find out: try it, and see what happens!

    This is what I do. If the dent is in the body and does not come out sizing, it will shoot out

    hehe should have thought of the needle nose pliers. Probably would have eventually, but just getting started reloading after getting my press this past weekend.:D Thanks!

    I prefer the sizing die to pliers. That's actually what it's made for, to fix the brass and put it into the proper shapes/size (dia) it should be in the first place.
