This thing is awesome. I can wet tumble a batch of brass and not have a single pin in the case or stuck in a flash hole (at least not yet).

It is VERY effective at separating media and brass.

Since wet stainless pins seem to stick to everything, it amazes me that this thing can work so well, but work it does. Brilliantly.

If you wet tumble, *definitely* get the FA wet/dry separator as it makes managing the pins and such immeasurably easier.

I've used one since day one......super easy and effective compared to some of the methods you hear folks using.

I have 2 of these and like them a lot....https://www.brownells.com/reloading...y&utm_campaign=itwine&utm_content=100-029-276

They are the exact same separators as the RCBS except for the color....https://www.brownells.com/reloading...paign=itwine&utm_content=100-029-276&psize=96

One other use I found for them, and the reason I got a second one, is to tumble your dirty range brass before separating/sorting it. The spacing of the slots let all the dirt and crap fall out and as an added bonus .22s all fall out too.

I love mine! I have put about 1500 lbs of brass through mine since it got cold in the fall. I use it in my basement and no mess. I just wish there was a solid rod connecting the handles like the Dillons. One handle has been a little loose since I got it but surprisingly it hasn't gotten worse. I figure when the handle does give way, I'll just rig up something to keep going.

I think you're saying you've used *a* media separator, not necessarily the FA version, right? I have no experience with the other ones, but the FA works really well.

Yeah, it's mildly annoying. I will likely permanently epoxy mine in place as some point. They are only come as pieces for ease of shipping.

I like the FA over the others I've seen because of the screened pour spout and the drain hole in the lighter colored half. It makes managing pins very easy.

This guy's video on the FA put me over the top:
