Interesting. Now, I wonder if they will start respecting the STATE constitution? You know, Article 1, Section 32?

So, would so-called NFA items (suppressors, SBRs, and the like) now be perfectly legal in Franklin County?

I hate to be the damper on this party, but.....

Local municipalities are not allowed to pass gun laws that are in conflict with state law. If the state decides to accept federal laws regarding guns, then by that bill from last year that we oh so loved, then this Franklin county law would be against Indiana law.

    my 2 cents.

    My letter to the Governor.

    Dear Sir,

I would like to respectfully request that you consider pushing for a state
law that will instruct Indiana state law enforcement not to enforce any
unconstitutional gun laws that may be passed and signed into law by the
    Obama Administration.

States such as Wyoming and Texas are considering laws that will prohibit
federal agents from enforcing new gun laws/bans in their state. They have
gone so far as to propose arresting any federal agent attempting to
enforce new gun laws in their states.

I ask that you consider similar legislation for Indiana. It's important
that our state stand on the right side of the Constitution and protect the
rights of our citizens from a federal government that continues to over
    step its bounds.

    Sincerely,
