    Sorry, newbie questions.
A couple of friends have told me to check the F.N.S. out.
Can you come and just watch (paying the $15 fee)?
I have no idea what this is, but I was told it would be fun for me by someone who knows me.
Are these every Friday night or just 1x/mo.?
Is there a website that describes all that goes on, even a vid on youtube?

Bring that CZ for a run. YouTube search for Friday night steel. Also steel challenge, closest to FNS shooting.

Most of what you need to know is here: MCFG Indy Range - Friday Night Steel

If you're just watching, I don't think you need to pay. But heed the warnings posted earlier - if you come "just to watch", you'll kick yourself later.

Bring at least 5 mags and minimum 200 rounds of ammo. We don't wait for people to reload their mags during stages; don't be the guy who has to stop shooting because his mags are empty.

You don't need to be good, just follow instructions and have good safety practices. Right Marcel?

Meeting starts at 6:15 sharp - if you're late, you don't shoot.

There is friendly competition between friends, but no prizes.

    3. Five mags? For 1 gun? I have so much to learn in life!
    4. I'll have to just watch since don't have that many mags for any 1 gun: oh, wait, I just remembered I did get some extra mags for the Glock 26, I know there is 4, not sure about 5.
    5. Do you have to have a certain number of rounds in a mag?
    6. I'll watch the vids!

    1. I just spent a bit of time watching the vids.
    2. Looks like a blast!
    3. 2nd Friday of every month, I read.
    4. The Shadow would be wonderful for that, but I'm not ready to buy more mags yet until I would try it out (the Friday night steel); I'd have to use the Glock 26.

Thanks everyone who came out to shoot beautiful night. Thanks everyone who helped with set and tare down. The ROs did a great job keeping everyone safe and the match moving smoothly. Hope to see everyone in a couple of weeks

I did count at the range today and there are 5 Glock magazines, 4 of them with pinky extensions.
If I do the FNS and love it, I will want to use my Shadow 2 (3 mags come with it) since it shoots better than I do.
I might even take it to a FNS with my Glock b/c someone might lend me 2 mags for the Shadow to borrow.
Maybe that's not even possible b/c of the structure of the match.
How far away are you from the steel targets?

I might lend you two magazines for the Shadow, if you ask real nice.

Thank you to everyone that makes FNS possible and the RO's for keeping everyone safe!

Good to shoot with you too, Tom. Not so much Saturday though, you mowed those pins down a little quicker. Thought I had ya!
    Glad you're home safe.
