Update: Frozen fecal matter closes I-65 exit ramp

EEEeewwwww... at least it masked the normal scent up by W Lafayette...

Apparently a tanker dumped its load, accidentally spilling about 300 or 400 gallons of raw sewage onto the ramp, Indiana State Police Sgt. Kim Riley said, noting that the waste was 6 to 8 inches deep in places on the ramp.

As if that wasn't bad enough, the pooling excrement froze, causing a toxic poopsicle, as well as a traffic hazard.

Interesting that this would happen in Lafayette.....the gun & knife show in Lafayette is held in the swine barn at the fairgrounds. The locals should be use to the smell. :)

Everyone should be happy this happened in February and the sh... shtuff is frozen. Imagine the ambience if this was July.

The fact that it's frozen should be a boon to the clean up effort. Just bring in the road graders and front end loaders and get the shtuff scraped up. If it weren't frozen, it'd be seeping in and running off into the storm drains. Much harder to clean up then.

So, when the fecal matter was first dropped, I can only assume that vehicles immediately behind him got a bunch of poo in their front grills.
The defecation likely made contact with the rotary oscillator.
