Re most of the "no big deal" posts, despite the lack of purple I'm assuming that you are being sarcastic. Otherwise, you really need to get out more so that you understand why this is really dumb and makes responsible gun owners look bad.

If he would just keep a low profile, it will fade from public consciousness and DOJ will realize that there's nothing to prosecute.

When the Zimmerman story first hit and the info on the gun came out, literally my first thought before even considering who was right/wrong, was "good thing he didn't need a follow-up shot".

Considering the threats on his life I hope he is "armed to the teeth" at this point and Kel Tec sounds like a good place to make that happen. (Although Smyrna GA. and Berryville AK. would be on my list of places to visit.
