The Mrs. has given me the official go ahead. We are no longer just keeping an eye out for a GSD, we are now actively looking to adopt.
She is trying to stay away from pups, as it has been awhile since she's had a dog. So a younger dog is preferred, but we would still take a look at adults. Good with small children and cats are a must.
We live out in the country on a 1 acre lot. No fence, but I am putting in a below ground fence within the next two weeks. Any above ground fence will be largely decorative and not really a physical barrier.
We are taking a first look at Shelters for adoption, but I thought I would put word out here.
