I picked a Glenfield/Marlin 25 at the last 1500. Looks great, and when a round actually comes out, it shoots great too. I've taken it apart and cleaned it and that has helped a lot. It went from failing to fire almost every round to now only failing to fire the last round of the magazine. Before doing the cleaning, my theory was that there is an issue with the firing pin (too many dry fires) or I might just need a new firing spring. Now I'm not sure if it's just a magazine issue, a feeding problem or something like that. I asked on another forum about this issue, and someone responded saying although he didn't have the same rifle, he mentioned he had the same problem and a new extractor fixed it. I don't want to just start throwing money at it if I don't have too, but I'd really like to make this guy my regular shooter.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
