Debating H1N1 flu virus take it or no take it...

This is a simple decision for me. No for two reasons.

1. I dislike the idea of intentionally injecting virus into my body.
2. Anything that the gov't says, "Do it! Do it! Do it!", makes me run as fast as I can the other way.

I love the Endocrinologists response to 'get it for your neighbors sake'... He says "So I'm supposed to risk life long neurological damage just so my neighbor doesn't possible get the swine flu from me?"

I thought it was a good show, he allowed both MD's to explain their thoughts fully.

What was scary was the lawyer who thought the government had "Rights" and you HAD to do whatever they said, including quarantining being a 'good thing'.

Being young and invincible, there's no way i'm getting the vacine. I'm more likely to die from a cramp caused by the mouse i'm about to click than i am to die of the flu.

Now i'm scared to click, but i'll post something soon after to make sure i'm still alive.

I'm leaning towards the "hell no" on this.
The Marine Corps forced me and my comrades to take all kinds of weird and unproven crap during Desert Storm.
Nobody knew for sure what the stuff was and how it would affect us later.
There have been cases of birth defects, of varying degrees of severity, from our offspring since then.

I don't trust my government much these days...
