I didn't know anything of the starvation of the Russians. And I knew a little about Che, but not most of what they showed. I am still appreciative that he took the time to make a show like that instead of usual show format. It was entertaining, and a slight bit educational.

The whole Stalin thing is why I don't understand why we didn't attack him in WWII when we finished with Germany. Especially since they were aligned so tight. We could have stopped the Cold War before it even started.

Yea, I really enjoyed the show and emailed him about it. I hope he does continue the theme of Live Free... or Die. I think there's a lot of ways he could go with it. Starting by showing where this Country fell off the tracks.

I didn't know anything of the starvation of the Russians.

There is a very good documentary called "Russia's War: Blood Upon the Snow." This was produced by Russians for a Russian audience, using documents, footage, and other materials declassified after the fall of the Soviet Union. One of the purposes of the documentary was to de-bunk the persistent Russian myth of the Great Stalin who masterminded the defeat of the Germans and saved the country. Many people in Russia still believe that.

The premise of the movie is that Russia's real war was the war of Stalin and the Communist Party against the Russian people; a war that was actively fought from 1923 until the 1950's. They treat the Great Patriotic War (against the Germans) as just one incident in the war of Stalin vs. the Russian people. Indeed, the Germans did not kill nearly as many Russians as Stalin did, and the war against the Germans hardly slowed down Stalin's killing of Russians.

It is very chilling to see the Soviet propaganda of the 1920's and 30's about how they claimed to be building a perfect society under the guidance of an idolized Great Leader. It is eerily similar to how The Obama and His great initiatives are presented today.

The starvation of forced collectivization was just one of the big Soviet mass murders. They did something similar in the 1930's against military. The Red Terror in the 20's was another one, and there was yet another after WWII as Stalin systematically persecuted everyone and every group who was judged not to have shown perfect loyalty during the war. The mass murder of the Cossaks was worse for our side, since the Allies actively participated in rounding up Cossaks and returning them to Stalin.

The whole Stalin thing is why I don't understand why we didn't attack him in WWII when we finished with Germany.

We'd have had to nuke the whole country. Our forces in Europe were in no way capable of defeating the Red Army.

Most of the US government, including the Roosevelt administration, was totally duped by Stalin. Churchill knew, and tried to warn Roosevelt, but FDR sided with Stalin to control British Imperialism.

After all the pro-Soviet and pro-Stalin propaganda the US people had been fed throughout the war, there is no way the US people would have supported another war against the Soviets after the defeat of the Germans.

Glen Beck for president. I did not catch that episode, however Glen is the man. Tells **** how it is, and does not care if he pisses people off. We need people like that in office. :yesway::yesway::yesway::yesway::yesway::yesway:

I am a huge fan of his, I love how places trying to dis-credit him but yet have nothing to prove him wrong. The fact of the matter is he is alerting people that this country is not a socialist country that was not how we were founded but it seems that we are converting to that by progressives under the stealth of darkness one little freedom at a time. I can thank him for alot of things I have learned and showing me how interesting the founding of the country actually is. I had NO CLUE who the hell Che even was until recently.

Two things the progressives are good at is: relentless and incremental changes.

Over a period of time most do not realize what changes have occurred until something happens to make them think about it. For those old enough to remember how it used to be, it's more glaring. For those that grew up with it, they may not know any better.

Glen is really good at putting two and two together to illustrate what these people are doing to our country.

Sometime in the early 90's the Brits released a correspondence from Churchill to Truman. The Germans had just surrendered and Churchill proposed we incorporate the still organized German Army into the allied forces, minus the Russians, and go take care of Stalin. Truman said no.

I was not aware of this fact, but I'm sure Gen. Patton would have loved to have had a piece of this action.

After we defeated Nazi Germany we then defeated Imperial Japan. The Soldiers, American people were tired of the war. Russia would have cost millions of lives another reason we didn't invade Japan and turned it into glass. The same reason we don't attack Iran or North Korea today.
