left to right top to bottom 17 Gen 4-9mm, 19 Gen 3-9mm, 36 Gen 3-.45

Other than the thinner/shorter grip and dehorned / radiused nose area on the 36, its nearly the same size Gen 3 19

Why glock didn't add the extra figure grooves on the 36 like the 19 will always puzzle me. Makes absolutly no sense IMO.

Where you see pretty much the same, I see a big difference. The thickness factor is huge.

Yes, the 36 grip is thinner and shorter for sure, the single stack 36 obviously is thinner by nearly one .45 shell casing width.

The 36 is comparable to the Gen 4 with no back straps on it, probably a little less
