Several years ago a bought a glock 22. Used. A police trade in at one point.
It had the barrel coated in TiN (titanuim nitrate)
    So GOLD! Yes GOLD!
I've been busy and havnt done much with it.
Checked with Glock about having the barrel refinished.
The barrel must have ALL the finish removed for them to refinish it.
    Soooo?
    How do I remove it?
Or can I have someone local remove the GOLD and refinish it to a black "Glock like" finish.
Either option is fine with me.
    Just not GOLD!

Yeah. Glocks site says out of stock. But it was so cheap and I don't want to put another $125-175 into it. I figured $20 for glock to redo it or $50 to have it done local was fine. But more. No

Check with AllenM here on the forum and see what he says regarding removing the current finish. Once that is done he could cerakote it for you.

Yeah. It's not a good job though. Very thin around the barrel hood and chipping at the barrel tip.
