Hey all, looking for a barrel to convert my Glock 29 to 357 Sig. I figured since my Glock 27 is converted to a 357 Sig (basically converted to the 33), and since the 29 can fire 40 S&W, the 29 should be able to handle 357 Sig with no problem. Before anyone says something about getting a 33, the 357 Sig should be so much more manageable in the heavier 29 and have more capacity. Anyone do this yet? Also, where can I locate one of these conversion barrels?

    Thanks

I'm not sure it can be done with the 29. The 10mm is the bigger frame like the 45 ACP. Where the 357 sig takes the smaller frame for the 9mm and 40 s&w.
The 40 S&W is just a shortened 10mm casing with same bullet diameter, and can be fired out of a stock 29 with no conversion. That being said, the 357 Sig is just a necked down 40 S&W. So if the 29 mag can hold and cycle the 40 S&W, it can hold the 357 Sig. Just need the barrel to get it done.

I did a little digging. Looks like lonewolf makes one which is who I'd use. I took a class with a guy one time who used a 9mm conversion barrel on a glock 23 and it ran without an issue through the 2 day class.

I tried looking it up but couldn’t find it. Would you happen to have a link?
