    LOL! Yep, trying to explain Glock Model numbers to people just confuses them. It's far easier to ask them what caliber they want and then go from there.
    Pretty much...and especially the Glock model '40' which is a 10mm, and the model '45' which is a 9mm.
    Unless you understand the patent numbering system, it just confuses the heck out of some people!

    If you think Glock is hard some of you all forgot the whole S&W numbers back in the early 1999’s

    9mm 5906,5926,5944.5903,5904, then the 69xx series

    45 acp 4506,4526,4586,4505,4566 I’m forgetting some

    40 cal 4006,4004,4026,4046 I’m forgetting some

    10mm 1006,1066,1086 1076 probably forgetting some

    I won’t even get into the revolver models!!! LOL and I am a S&W guy
