Glock slide wear finishing options

Didn't even hit me when I replied the other night, but you can get the Glock slide redone with an Atranite treatment. It's not a finish but an actual surface treatment. Said to be same as melonite. I had a Hi-Power done by Freedom Gunworks and am very pleased with the results and cost. Check the Handgun pics thread for a pic of the HP before and after.

I've heard of people having them Ceracoted.

But I don't worry about mine. If you carry it in a holster every day it's going to eventually be worn anyway.

That's true, glcoks are meant to be used.
