Picked up a Gen 3 Glock 17 in trade from fellow INGOer Trigger Time today. (Aside:Trigger Time is a pleasure to deal with, highly recommended!)

I love the Glock platform for it's reliability, accuracy, and firepower, but the grip simply does not fit my hands well. This is my first attempt at a grip reduction and stippling, but I'm pretty pleased with the results. I stuffed the magwell with rags and wrapped the trigger guard and top rail in Saran wrap to keep the polymer particles out. Pics are as follow, I did not take any detailed ones of the cut out in the trigger guard. The reason I left a small portion at the bottom untouched is that I measured it for the length of Glock 19 mags, in case I ever decide to shorten the grip. Let me know what you all think!

    Original condition:

Step 1-Sand down the finger grooves:

Step 2-Grind off the texturing on the front strap, then sand until smooth

Step 3-Grind off texturing on back strap, sand until smooth

    Step 4-Stipple your life away!

    Final Product:
