Glock with crack in the grip – is there a way to fix it?

A friend is selling his Glock 19 second generation. It seems to be in good condition, except fot a crack in the grip – see pic (this is a photoshop simulation, just to show where the crack is).

Is there a way to fix/seal/glue this crack, other than sending this gun to Glock?

    Thanks for your help

acraglass died black, fill the cavity up and clamp it. Might help if you rough up the inside. sand the bottom down to match the profile. polish it out to blend it in. worst case is it might need refinishing to blend everything together.

If he is interested in selling it as "blemished" i would be happy to pick it up for such a price.

FWIW, that crack is in a nonessential place on the frame. I'd probably leave it or just epoxy it, it is a Glock after all.

I was Soooooo expecting something else with this title...

Hahaha... I was looking for other words, but English is not my native language and those were the only ones I could think of. Maybe " grip" would had been a better choice...

Better a Glock with a crack in the butt than a butt with a Glock in the crack.

I have never had a 1911 fall apart like that, or a Browning HP for that matter. :)
