Going to Ohio

At the end of this month, I will be going to American Defense Training, in Bright, IN, for a two-day NRA Rifle Instructor's course. While there, I will be staying in a motel in Harrison, OH.

Would there be any problem with me carrying my EDC and one or two rifles across the state line? The Rifle(s) must go, altho the EDC could stay at home. Also, any problem carrying the rifle case(s) into the motel. It is a Best Western Motel.
