Unfortunately ruger didn't make the 10/22 left handed to my knowledge until a couple years ago. And it's their competition model which is like $8-900.this would be a perfect start - just need to find a Left Hand Bolt version
A few years ago a friend called me up to ask if I might be interested in a couple of firearms ha had for sale.Off the shelf or full blown custom?
Or a oldie but goodies a Winchester 52C.
Nothing will be great without great .22 ammo.

I ended up buying his grandfather's 1885 Low Wall, but it was not stock.
This Low Wall started life out as a .22 short.
Someone, years ago, decided it should be .22lr instead, so they used a Winchester model 52 host and re-barreled the Low Wall.
They also put on some kind of benchrest type stock so it's lines are wrong, the caliber is wrong, and the stock is "chunky", but it shoots lights out.
It quickly became one of my favorite .22's, and I gave $200 for it.
