If I can buy anything under the current going rate, I usually will. Sometimes to flip, sometimes to hold, but that's what my cash reserve is FOR - opportunistic deals.

Even in today's crisis, the pawn shops and ebay are full of tangibles that people thought would be a good investment but ended up selling at a loss to pay bills.

In most cases that's because they put #3 in front of numbers 1 & 2 in the priority list I mentioned... I like to prepare for the most common, most likely situations first...

I have silver and I will sell it anytime at spot but I'd never sell it below spot. If you got it below spot you obviously did great!
