Both were gifts, one from the dept. and one from my father. Both mean the world to me and will be cherished. It was a pretty good weekend.

Those Glock 27s are garbage. Mine still hasn't exploded. That 642 is on my list unless for some reason a 638 tickles my fancy more when I go to make the purchase.

Neat. So what is the story on the Glock. Did everyone in the recruit class get one? Are you going to carry it or just keep it as a reminder of an achievement?

I assume the 642 is a BUG. Good choice. I love my 642. Wish mine did not have the lock.

I got a "Top Shot" plaque, we once had the option of a Sheriffs Department G-27 logo roll marked back in the mid 90's, but never got one. Wished I would have now. I turned in my MC092SD 2nd gen G-22, and a couple years ago another old deputy sold me MC173SD, so I have at least one of the same in my collection.

Congratulations, I know how hard those classes can be............. believe me!
