    You got a very good deal on the gun. You can enjoy that for a long time and still make some coin on it. And yes that is good to be made there

    I am going to ask the same question, why can't i get a good deal like that. Clean that shot gun stop the rust and shoot it with pride.

    I have a friend at work that is looking for just this gun. So, if you want your money back just let me know. I live close and will even come pick it up. :D And yes you got a great deal. I would say $500 is on the conservative side.

    I was really close to buying one the other day..and it had $600 on it. I've had quit a few Auto-5s over the year, have never paid less than $400 for one and the $400 one was pretty beat up.

    Congratulations. You have a good friend. He returned your generosity in spades. That should not be forgotten.

    Surface rust on the older firearms doesn't necessarily reflect operation and reliability. Some of the older gas operated shot guns run a little dirty.

    Browning has always demanded higher prices, used or new.

    Talked to him this morning an told him what the gun was worth. He started laughing an jus said he would prolly be needing something again to catch up with him then,lol. Real friend is hard to come by these days!
