    Very exciting day! The new Crossbreed came in for my 5906. So far very satisfied. Had a question for you all out there. I have always used mink oil on most leather that I deal with. What do you prefer. Saddle treatment, mink oil, etc,???:patriot:

    I find my lower abdomen is sufficiently oily to keep the leather conditioned well (purple applied as intended)

    As disturbing as I find that - I guess I have to agree. I've never treated my CB in the seven years I've owned it and it's in great shape.

    I've had mine about a week and love it. Barely even feel it on me. It was squeaky when I got it but it loosened up without any oil. Guess I should anyway.

    Meltonian Leather Balm. Though it's a general purpose balm for leather, apparently some riders like it better than the specialty stuff for saddles. I can't say for holsters, though.
